I recently installed wine ("wine-1.7.54-179-ga0d0d0d") through the Arch linux AUR package wine-git.

When trying to run wine, I receive the following output:

wine: created the configuration directory '/home/george/.wine'
err:process:start_wineboot failed to start wineboot, err 1359

How to fix?

Sounds like a broken package. Report it to the package maintainer.
