Game: Choose Destination Location

I've tried installing a couple of games using Wine and the windows style installer starts and I accept the terms and the next screen asks me to choose destination location. The default one says C:\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Games\___ (___ is where the name of the game is). I choose Next and it says wrong folder selected. How do I find where it was installed??

You can browse the wineprefix in your file manager and try to find any installed executables, but from what you say it sounds like the installation didn't complete.

You didn't mention what Wine version you're using. If it's not the latest development release, upgrade. If it still does this in 1.7.52, post terminal output from running the installer. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log

Thanks I'll check on that! Also, do you know about installing files that end in .inf instead of .exe? I know people have installed this particular game I just can't find any information on .inf files despite searching for hours.
