Hi,
I am very new to Linux, but I have been using Debian 8.2 in a small netbook for a few months with not much difficulty so far, however I have been using only the apps that came with the Debian installation.
The only windows app I am interested in adding is viber and that's how I discovered "wine" and that it is already in my notebook :
/ I was able to get the install program with
wget http://download.cdn.viber.com/cdn/deskt ... rSetup.exe
and I have it now in home/Win Programs/ViberSetup.exe
/ I believe wine is working fine because I can see the help menu when I type "wine --help"
/ Nothing seems to happen when I type "wine Win Programs/WineSet.exe" or "wine home/Wine Programs/WineSetup.exe" and I cannot find the viber installed files anywhere.
I will appreciate very much if someone can help me get viber working on my netbook.
Help to install viber 32bit in wine
