I'm Alessandro, and I'm a new member of this Forum. Some weeks ago I downloaded the latest version of Wine (1.7.28-1.3), and I used it to make Google Sketchup Make 2015 (32-bit version) work properly. But when I launched it, after pressing the "Start Using Sketchup" button, the software froze and crashed! (I have enclosed a screenshot to this post)
I can't understand what's the reason behind these crashes. I followed each part of the instructions given on the WineHQ Website, including that I had to choose the 32-bit version, but still there's something wrong. I've also read that Sketchup 2015 has been tested and considered as working fine.
Moreover, I've to say that I perfectly meet all the technical requirements listed in the Sketchup 2015 page:
OpenSUSE 13.2 "Harlequin" x86_64
Wine 1.7.28-1.3
Is there something I can do? How can I solve this problem? (Because I'm completely sure there is a solution to this problem if other people with the same OS can use it without any problem.)

Hi dimesio, I apologize for my late reply, but my laptop was under maintenance. Anyway, thank you for your answer. What do you mean with "development release"?
dimesio wrote:Wine has three branches: stable, development, and staging. The current development release is 1.7.51; that is what you should test.
1.7.51? How is it possible that I have 1.7.28 if 1.7.51 is the latest release? I'm confused! I installed Wine through the Software Management (which I always use to update or install stuff on the OS), but it didn't update it to the latest version?
Oh, I see. Well, now I did what you said and everything is working properly. Thank you so much! I guess we can close this thread as "SOLVED".
Again, thank you so much for the help, dimesio. You've been great.
