[DIablo 2; LoD] Game takes too long to load, black screen.

The game does run just fine, just a few kinks. Not sure if this is normal or not.

When I load the game, nothing appears to happen for like 2-3 seconds. Then in thes top left of my screen, there is a small black box and it starts cycling through all the keys on my keyboard (starts with ~ and goes through all keys on the keyboard both lowercase and upper) then loads to a black screen and the process repeats. This happens when I start the game, when I create/join a game, a cinematic plays or I go to different acts. Loading usually takes about 2-3 minutes

Is this normal or do I have an issue with wine settings or a graphics card issue?

This bug has been fixed in some unofficial patch of Diablo II. Not sure if you interested in this, PM me for details.
