"Office 7" is actually Office 95. Do you really mean that, or do you mean Office 2007?

If you mean Office 2007, the symptoms sound like https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29788, which is only triggered when you ignore the instructions in the AppDB and change the Windows version to something higher than XP. Reinstall to a clean wineprefix following the instructions in the AppDB. https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... n&iId=4992

Thank you dimesio. sorry, i meant Office 2007. As long as i can understand the problem is that i've got Linux Mint 64 bit.
a message tells me MSMXL is missing and ask me to restore Office, even if i do that the problem persists.

That sounds like https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30785, which is triggered by using a 64 bit wineprefix. The solution is the same as for the other bug: reinstall to a clean 32 bit wineprefix following the instructions in the AppDB that I linked to above. You will have to either delete your current wineprefix, or use another one, as it is no longer clean.
