Key interference

Post by Dinis »

Hi,
I'm running the game 1nsane and when I Alt-Tab out of it, it kind of goes crazy because the Alt key is used by the game.

If the game doesn't have a way to remap the keys it uses, remap them in your desktop environment.

In KDE, it's under Configure Desktop=>Shortcuts and Gestures=>Global Keyboard Shortcuts; the KDE component is KWin. If you're using some other desktop environment, I don't have a clue. Ask on your distro's support forum.

Can't Wine make a key be detected only by the game?

No. That's controlled through the host system.
