Updated to Wine 1.7.44-1 on Arch, now nothing will run

Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
The explorer process failed to start.

This is the error message I get now when I try to run anything in Wine. I have not run wine as root! I have tried to reinstall wine and it's dependencies but nothing worked. This started happening directly after updating it. I did try to downgrade Wine to the previous version but that did not work either. Any help is appreciated!

Did you use native DLL overrides with your old prefix? Looks like you have tried to override shell32. Try to move old Wine prefix out the way:

Thanks for your suggestion. But it did not work. I have not tried to do a native DLL override but I must have messed something up. After trying to do your fix I get the following error:

Thanks for the help! It looks like this is the problem. In the latest commit, they turned off build flags because of this problem. So I could just wait for an update or maybe build the package for myself. But thanks for the help. Really appreciated it!

In my case, on Arch, it does not. As soon as i update from 1.7.43-x and start anything with wine (even winecfg like the one), i have massive amounts of errors. Reverting back to old and no errors at all.

Don't know what is wrong here.

What is also strange - my wine has window 1024x768 for an example steam. With 1.7.43-x steam shows in "virtual" window (desktop). With 1.7.44-2 there are no "virtual" window (desktop), but steam is launched without that. In fact, steam with it works, but i can't run anything wine related like winecfg/wineuninstaller or wine regedit. Errors shown above.

BTW -i don't have gcc installed at all but don't know if i need it.
