Hi All,
To get around Red Hat's decision not to support 32 bit apps, will there ever be a version of Wine 64 that internally supports 32 bit apps? Is it even possible?
Many thanks,
-T
Edit: it is getting even uglier out there for Wine 32. There is talk about Fedora 23 dropping 32 bit support too:

32/64 bit support
Re: 32/64 bit support
32 bit libraries are needed to run 32 bit apps, in Wine and in Windows. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... 85%29.aspx
You overlooked the disclaimer in boldface at the beginning of that article that says it was intended satirically.ToddAndMargo2 wrote: Edit: it is getting even uglier out there for Wine 32. There is talk about Fedora 23 dropping 32 bit support too:

That is a good sign. Maybe it was an Aprils fools joke. No joke over on the RHEL side though.dimesio wrote:32 bit libraries are needed to run 32 bit apps, in Wine and in Windows. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... 85%29.aspx

Is there any sign of 32 bit support internally inside a Wine 64 package?
