stable version of Wine ?

Personal hello , I wonder how the wine update the calendar , I realize that it is still in its stable version 1.6.2 , my question is have any date for the launch of the new stable version , and what the next version will be stable?

The stable branch is on a feature-based release schedule, not a time-based one. The criterion for 1.8 is the completion of the CSMT patches. http://wiki.winehq.org/WineReleaseCriteria
