Purge all the wine* packages and reinstall. There's probably something left over from a distro package. Don't worry: it won't affect your WINEPREFIXES.

How on Earth are we supposed to know if it's possible? You have to provide details of what the issue is or we cannot start to guess.

What you have tried?

You could try WINEDEBUG=+loaddll to see which DLL may be causing the issue, and try winetricks to work around it. However, there seems to be a Wine bug here that probably should be reported.
