Thanks for the reply Gcenx. This issue was present in multiple versions of Wine, not just yours. I also found out from the EKA2L1 devs that the project requires OpenGL 3.3. Is wine-gecko something that comes pre-installed on the engine or something I need to configure?

I'm not seeing a winetricks for IE9...only 8 and less. The AppDB says IE9 is garbage rating.

The launcher definitely makes use of IE because it runs an auto-patcher before launching the game.

I ended up getting it to work. All I had to do is change Fullscreen from 0 to 1 in sys.ini inside the FairyLand folder.

Try using a much newer version of wine, WineCX18.5.0 isn’t even the current WineCX build anyone I’ve added WineCX19.0.1 yesterday. Or stick to a normal release like Wine-4.20/Wine-Staging-4.20 (Wine-4.21/Wine-Staging-4.21 has wineboot issues) Also provide log within the wrapper /Logs/LastRunWine.lo...
