Still can't install from NanoCorp
Hi guys. Have wine 1.3.1 installed and the bug
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23935 was reported as fixed,
closed. So tried to install ispq9.msi and this is the output from the
terminal.

Read the bug report. The app needs Windows Media Player. Install WMP9 first with winetricks, then install the msi with msiexec /i.Bob Benjamin wrote:Hi guys. Have wine 1.3.1 installed and the bug

I just tested in 1.3.1; it works fine with WMP9 installed

HI. Thanks. It installed with WMP9 but won't open. Error: ispq9.exe
has a serious error and must shut down. What's with this?

a brain fart. I didn't config wine with ispq9.msi Is that why it
wont open? What's the correct way to configure wine with an .msi I just
installed it and didn't configure it. Sorry.

Re: Still can't install from NanoCorp
There's nothing to configure with the msi, just install it with msiexec. It installs the app into Wine's C:\Program Files\iSpQ VideoChat 9. The app starts up and gets to the login screen, but crashed for me when I clicked "Create Account." I don't know if it will work if you already have an account.Robert Benjamin wrote:a brain fart. Already have an account, so the password and login name are
already checked. Just get the error that is has a serious problem and
has to shut down. Can't try to create an account because it closes right
away. Would it help if I uninstalled it and tried to create an account
from the start?

It didn't install it, because you didn't type the command properly. That's what that Unknonw arg message is telling you, followed by instructions for the correct usage. You need to start reading what's in the console.Bob Benjamin wrote:Tried d3dx9 and it still crashed without trying to login to my
