Hey there

I've been using wine for various application and I'm wondering if anybody got enough luck working out livezilla in wine I've tried everything possible core fonts and netframework 2.0

Is it possible to run it under wine at all? what about netframework 3.5?

What error messages are you receiving and did you check the Applications
Database for EACH program?

Did you do what James suggested to fix the font issue?

winetricks corefonts
Is it possible to run it under wine at all?
Not sure. If you want us to help you debug the install are going to have to
1. Read the winefaq.
2. Upgrade wine to 1.3.18 or above
3. Start with a clean wine prefix
4. Install netframework 2.0 using winetricks
5. Install the application in the terminal and post the log on pastebin.com

www.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
what about netframework 3.5?
I think that one is out:

In a quick search I could not find it. However I did find a few posts
in the forum about users trying to get help installing livezilla.
These were mostly old however.

If it is not there, that means:
1. No one decided to report their results.
2. No one has tried to use it with Wine yet.

How about giving it a go and let us know what happens?

says livezilla had problems; to try it, you had to do
winetricks dotnet20 before installing.

If it still has trouble, try
winetricks ie7

Yes, these messages are sent by humans and yes we block/ban them as
soon as they appear. Read Sticky #1 for proper actions to take when
you see these messages.

Google pastebin.com for more information on pastebin. Ubuntu has one of their own.

Can you try installing the program thusly:
Remove the existing Wine files directory. It is located at $HOME/.wine if LiveZilla is the only program you have installed with Wine.
Install mono using WineTricks. http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks is where information on using this is located
Install LiveZilla
Run LiveZilla and capture a log file and post it to a pastebin.com like site.

Thank you.
