Looks like bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24517 .
You may have luck by trying the fix suggested here: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... &iId=27132 . Though I don't think it will run in a nice way.

Re: lehreroffice - teacher's tool switzerland
Does native comctl32 (install with e.g. "winetricks comctl32") fix the issue?
It looks like the height of the menu is calculated wrong. Please search the bug database and file a bug if there isn't already one for this issue.

Re: wine 1.7.4 call of duty BLOPS error
If wine 1.4 worked flawlessly in the past, you could try it. If it still works, it's a bug in wine and you need to run a regression test and file a bug for wine. If wine 1.4 doesn't work, something in your system broke and you need to identify the component and it would be nice if you run a regressi...

Re: Can ENB work with Wine ?
By any chance you could be a bit more descriptive in what you've done and what game you used. It would be much easier to get an answer if you would describe your problem more precisely. Imho google found an answer for ENB and I just put the solution here. WARNING: This next step is not officially su...

Re: Trouble installing games
What wine version do you use? Just run "wine --version" to get this one.
What games are you trying to install? Does it happen for all games? Do the games have appdb entries (see http://appdb.winehq.org/ )?

Re: Games not working
This looks like a bug in the nouveau driver. You may have better luck with the binary nvidia driver. You may also try a recent version of wine (like 1.5.18).

Well, a fixme just indicates that there may be something missing. It doesn't mean there is necessarily a problem with your app. If the app runs, don't care about the fixme. Do you have any problem with the app?

Bug 31406 discussion
This is the topic to bug 31406 . The goal is to get an overview, which patch works for which game and which doesn't. The first post is used as overview, I'll update it from time to time. The bug is sometimes hard to hit, so the tests may be hard too. There will be more patches to check if the issue ...

Re: Gothic 3 - problem with start menu
Hartmut Figge: After replacing the d3dx9_36.dll nothing seems to have changed. I have uploaded g3_log_3.txt to http://www.triffids.de/pub/wine/gothic_3/ and partly commented it. The comments can easily be found by searching for '# '. As your log shows, wine still uses the builtin d3dx9_36.dll. And ...

Re: Gothic 3 - problem with start menu
I think you used one of the native d3dx9_xx.dlls when it was running. The exact version you need depends on the version of Gothic 3 (e.g. Version 1.74 uses d3dx9_40.dll, see appdb). You may discover the exact version by running with WINEDEBUG=+loaddll. Native d3dx_36.dll should work for all Gothic 3...

similar happens with 7zip benchmark. did like ~16.000 in Windows, does ~8000 in Wine. i know 64-Bit is faster. but that much? could be a kernel issue? a memory issue? How many treads were used by wine and how many were used by windows? Just a small example: using 4 and 6 threads in wine. It's a sma...

Do older test trigger the same bug? If so, please check which version is the first not working.

Re: wine requires pulse?
I am trying to remove all traces of pulseaudio from my install in an attempt to get working sound. When I try to remove wine-pulseaudio-1.1.29-1.fc11 (i586) it tells me that wine is a dependency and it will be removed as well.
