I have read on a winehq database entry that it is related to starforce, but I haven't been able to find any workaround.
Has anybody solved this king of problem?

I remember that Starforce protection is one of those that will NEVER work on Wine. What version of Wine are you running?
Does the Appdb entry say the application has ever worked with Wine?
