New to WINE ; Change default font

New forum member.

Brand new user of EEEBUNTU 3 on EeePC 900A. ( 1 week) Just installed WINE 1.0.1

I can run Window applications fine.
But the display font "Tahoma" does not look crisp. I've used the slider in WINE config but it does not get sharper.

Read FAQ

Loaded WINE TRICKS, installed corefonts

Re-read FAQ
Searched forums for quick answer. Found nothing that applied.
Joined forum.
Writing this message.

Can anyone assist me?

Be sure when you use Wine always install the package FreeType1 fonts it's in most
Linux repos.
