Error Message: Failed to Initialize Direct Music Audio

As the title says, I've been getting an error that says "Failed to initialize Direct Music Audio" when I try to run certain games. Immediately after, my game crashes. I'm using the latest release of Darwine on a Mac running 10.5.5. what do I have to fix?
