dxdiag equivalent for online activations??

I was lurking some forums, about a notorious CopyProtection system. The mod of those forums was declaring that he can provide the means for "online" activation, provided a proof of purchase (we dont care about that) and the dxdiag report .

Now that was interesting because dxdiag.txt (the output) not only has a list of all the components of the pc, but also some other vital information, such as the name of the workstation/host and other.

So it made me wondering, if wine is able to re-create or mock up a dxdiag for various reasons?
