Adobe Photoshop CS and CS2

Post by Sam Fourman Jr. »

hello,

I am Running FreeBSD 7.0 and the latest version of wine, wine-0.9.59

I want to run any version of Photoshop and the only 2 I have is CS and
CS2, they both installed perfect
but they both will not startup they crash while the splash screen is
up, here is my log.

I did install times32.exe if that matters, I am hoping there is a
simple fix to this.

[sfourman@Sam ~/.wine]$ cd drive_c/Program\ Files/Adobe/Adobe\ Photoshop\ CS2/
[sfourman@Sam ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop
CS2]$ wine Photoshop.exe

Update,

I used the command cd /usr/ports/graphics/libgphoto2/ && make deinstall

then both Adobe photoshop CS and CS2 started up just fine

then when I reinstalled cd /usr/ports/graphics/libgphoto2/ Photoshop broke again

I am not sure what is going on here, But maybe I found a bug, I hope
so because I don't find those very often.

You have a system problem; your libgphoto2 is failing to load
because it's out of sync with the rest of your system, I think.

Yup.

Please go to the FreeBSD support lists, this isn't a wine problem.
