It is a Copy protection Aplay a crack and it should work
You may not have known, but postings about cracks are absolutely
unwelcome on the Wine users forum/list ...
Does the forum need a more prominent notice that postings about copy
protection cracks are not allowed and will be summarily deleted?
(Preferably without prejudice to people posting about such the first
time they do.)

I really don't see why merely mentioning that a crack is currently the
only way to get a game working should be taboo, so long as nobody
mentions /where/ to get it from. That's roughly the policy of every
emulation forum I've ever hung around for the past 7 years, and none of
them have suffered legal problems for it.

Wine has a bigger target painted on it; we have to be more careful, I think.
Part of that is fostering a culture of encouraging squeaky-clean legality.
