Since updating Wine today (wine-1.1.20), I am getting this error each time it starts:

Program Error
The program winedevice.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I haven't noticed anything not working so far.

I haven't noticed anything not working so far.

You probably have some program that installed a device driver that
doesn't work. Before, you would only see the crash in terminal, but
with the gui crash manager, you get that.

So you mean that what's new is not the error, but the graphical display of the error. OK. Thanks.

Correct, you had that crash all along, you just haven't seen it.
