Japanese characters

Dear all
Some programs in windows need GLOBAL IME japanese (jamondo, msjaime or imejpn). These programs don't work under WINE because it seems it has not this IME included.
Is it posible to see Japanese character in WINE?

Set your locale to Japanese.

I'm having the same problem too
I'm trying to run a japanese .exe programme on wine but it won't display the jp characters even when I've set the locale to Japanese.
The same situation for Chinese programmes...

Does it have anything to do with this page which I don't understand?

btw the button on the wine config screen is still in english under the jp locale but the 'okay' and 'cancel' buttons which are supposed to be in Japanese are displayed as boxes...
