Eve Online Launcher

I have Eve Online running on Linux Mint,

Wine 10.11
Wine Staging 9.4 (not sure why it is lower)

Anyway, Eve itself runs very well.

But in May they released a new version of the launcher, from 1.9.4 to 1.10.1
The launcher no longer launches.
A couple of days ago they released 1.11.0 launcher and it does not launch either.
I am able to run Eve via the 1.9.4 launcher though.

1.11.1 shows a black window in the middle of the screen, the size of the splash. It never finishes running, it just stays stuck there.

How can I get you some troubleshooting data, and perhaps get help on running this app?

Well are you running Wine or Wine Staging?

I used Wine Staging to install Eve Online, but use Wine to run it. I have since updated Wine Staging to 10.11 and tried to run the launcher with that, but the same problem happens, just a black rectangle the size of the splash screen but it never finishes or crashes.
