A debugger has been found meta trader

Post by cradle »

I am unable to run or install Meta trader trading platform after a recent Arch system update updating wine to `10.8-1`. I am getting the old issue viewtopic.php?t=28657&sid=ff3647d86ac61 ... ec1c298220 . I tried to downgrade upto `10.3-1` but I am getting the same issue.

When I try the win32 prefix I am getting `Bad EXE format for ...`

I am not able to downgrade below `10.3-1` as I see no package in the cache or online and the makepkg for that version is failing.

Someone else have posted almost the same issue recently on Meta site https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/483351

Are you using Wine or Wine Staging?

The linked forum post says use Wine Stable (10.0). Have you tried that?

You cannot run a 64-bit program in a 32-bit prefix.

This has also been reported as Bug 58043.
