Search engines are failing me, I don't know what can be done about this. No DRM patch seems to be available for this game and as a 2005 release, emulation in 86Box is not viable. DRM That Checks Windows OS Version?
Hi, I installed an old game from my own disks, Creature Conflict: The Clan Wars. However when trying to launch I get an error message that looks like this:

Have you tried setting the Windows version in winecfg to one of those versions?

I set specific Windows versions using Lutris which didn't work. Not sure if that's the same thing but I can try again
I managed to find a patch for the game yesterday, really lucky as there were only two versions for both the English as well as the German release, which happens to be my language. Of course, I really shouldn't have to do that but this is what DRM does to us...
I think I'll still try your suggestion on the unpatched version.
