Wine program not recognizing usb device

hi, i'm running Wine 9.0 on Ubuntu 24.04. the windows software runs normally but it needs to connect to a device from usb, ubuntu recognize it but when i run the windows software it says that there is no device connected. i tried to run windows in virtual box, windows recognize usb devices like usb storage but when i connect this device the virtual machine freeze and i need to restart it. i don't know why is happening, everything works well until i connect this device. if you need some screenshot about something just tell me what you need and how i do this because i'm not so practical with linux sorry...

Faced same problem. Could not find a workaround by now. Which device did you connect?

Did you assign a drive letter to the usb drive via winecfg? That might help to make wine / the wine application detect the usb drive.
