When I start the application through Wine, the screen turns off as if there was no signal. I use external monitor connected to Dell docking station (WD19S).
It does not happens always. I would say in less than 50% of cases. Quiet random. Often the screen goes ON after few seconds. But sometimes NOT. Then stays off until I disconnect/reconnect USB-C dock cable from laptop.
It look's like Wine is changing resolution or DPI or something during app startup. I use simple "Winbox" windows application most of the time. This problem happened even when running Winecfg alone so I guess it is not related to specific windows program.
Using Wine 9.0 from repositories in Ubuntu 22.04. It's a longtime problem for me. It also happened with wine versions 6, 7, 8. I keep Ubuntu up to date and even install Dell dock firmware updates regularly. No update solved my problem so far.
I have Dell 5410 laptop with Intel UHD Graphics 620 with Displayport over USB-C.
