I am with Linux Mint 21.3 based on Ubuntu 22.04. I have wine 9.0.0.0-jammy-1.
Today I saw the update: libxml2 2.9.13+dfsg-1ubuntu0.4 amd64 [upgradable from: 2.9.13+dfsg-1ubuntu0.3].
But, it would remove: libgphoto2-6:i386 libsane1:i386 libxkbregistry0:i386 libxml2:i386 libxslt1.1:i386 wine-binfmt wine-installer wine-stable wine-stable-i386:i386 winehq-stable
What is a solution here? Thanks
libxml2 update in Linux Mint 21.3 (Ubuntu 22.04) to uninstall wine

Today, also when I try to update "libssl-dev libssl3" I see that wine would be removed:
The following packages will be REMOVED:
libcups2:i386 libcurl3-gnutls:i386 libcurl4:i386 libgphoto2-6:i386 libgssapi-krb5-2:i386 libkrb5-3:i386 libnsl2:i386 libnss-nis:i386 libnss-nisplus:i386 libsane1:i386 libsasl2-modules:i386 libsnmp40:i386 libssh-4:i386 libssl3:i386 libtirpc3:i386 libwrap0:i386 wine-binfmt wine-installer wine-stable wine-stable-i386:i386 winehq-stable

Re: libxml2 update in Linux Mint 21.3 (Ubuntu 22.04) to uninstall wine
The amd64 and i386 packages should be exactly the same version. It is possible that an amd64 package has already been updated in the repository, but the i386 package has not yet been updated.
When I look at https://packages.ubuntu.com, the packages now have the same version.
libssl3 version 3.0.2-0ubuntu1.15
libxml2 version 2.9.13+dfsg-1ubuntu0.4

Re: libxml2 update in Linux Mint 21.3 (Ubuntu 22.04) to uninstall wine
Thanks! Seems So. And that would explain why more and more packages cause the trouble.
libxml2 locally offers 2.9.13+dfsg-1ubuntu0.4 while libxml2:i386 stays at 2.9.13+dfsg-1ubuntu0.3.
libssl3 locally offers 3.0.2...15 while libssl3:i386 has 3.0.2...14.
libtiff5 locally offers 4.3.0-6ubuntu0.8 while libtiff5:i386 shows 4.3.0-6ubuntu0.7.
So since Ubuntu has the same version, I will first look locally if I have jammy-updates for i386.
EDIT: resolved.
I was looking into Android build and saw that official-package-repositories.list conficts with that, as there was no arch, so I added deb [arch=amd64].
But, I missed i386 that I forgot, so it was just updating amd64. Now added and OK.
