The program didn't launch out of the box in Wine, but I figured out from the log that it's asking for .NET 4.6.1. Installed 4.8 through winetricks, now it launches but apparently doesn't recognize the mouse.
I've read the relevant wiki page and tried the suggested udev rule with no effect. The Restrictions section mentions having to disable the device on the host to make it accessible. That wouldn't be a problem if done temporarily, how would one do that?
