I've just recently run across wine in my search for answers about why my mac won't allow me to download broker specific versions of MT4 (metatrader4) I have been able to download the MT4 app directly from the Metatrader site, but it does not allow for multiple different broker accounts to be accessed. Each broker provides it's own version, i.e. Eightcap, Forex.com etc.
My inquiry is will using wine enable e to download these apps, which have thus far been refused by my mac because of the source being unverified specifically by apple? I'm not a programmer or IT specialist, so the intricacies of WINE evade me, but I can appreciate a decent program that would enable me to use apps I've never had a problem downloading on my Windows devices on my mac.
