Issues with wine running reMarkable app

Hi Folks

I installed wine following the instructions on wiki.winehq.org on my ubuntu 22.04 laptop - and the version the commands installed was wine-8.0.1. I then downloaded the reMarkable 2 windows app, used winecfg to configure to windows 8, 10, windows XP reinstalling the app each time but the app just freezes - just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this
