WINE 8.0 RC2 not working with DXVK and Mesa

Post by aug »

Hello.
Thanks for reading my topic.
I want share that issue and if anyone has an solution thanks for replying.

Ubuntu 20.04.5 64 bits.
IGP Radeon 3000
WINE 8.0 RC2
Mesa drivers 22.3.2.
Installed DXVK latest version.

When trying start some softwares that require D3D9 if using DXVK the software not start and is created an log

info: Game: VPinballX.exe
info: DXVK: v2.0
info: Built-in extension providers:
info: Win32 WSI
info: OpenVR
info: OpenXR
info: OpenVR: could not open registry key, status 2
info: OpenVR: Failed to locate module
info: Required Vulkan extension VK_KHR_surface not supported

However if trying use the wined3d9 implementation the softwares start , but some softwares has graphics issues.

In 10-2022 using in same system WINE 7 and Mesa previous version all softwares run correctly without any issues if using DXVK.

In WINE 8.0 RC1 has the information below in changelog
Bundled vkd3d upgraded to version 1.6.
Vulkan and OpenGL thunking optimizations.

Perhaps that issue when using DXVK is recent because of any changes in vkd3d , d3d or other WINE component ?
Simply DXVK or Mesa Vulkan acceleration not work in WINE 8.0 RC2.

Any help ?
Have an nice day.
