Hello, I am trying to run a version of the game Touhou 8 that has been patched with THCRAP (a Touhou patch that patches it to run in english.) This went perfectly fine on an older Mint OS, but that one got messed up so I had to make a new one. Ever since then, I have not been able to get a patched copy of any Touhou game to work, it just gives me the Wine error "L'Could not open thcrap\thcrap_loader.exe." It does not tell me anything else, no output in the terminal, it just gives me the error message. I have tried everything. I have installed Wine Mono, I have installed Wine Gecko, and I have installed the .NET framework (all were listed as fixes for the problem,) but nothing has worked. If someone could help me with this problem I would seriously appreciate it. Thank you all in advance.

Which way do you try to start the game?
The backslash makes me suspect that the command is not quite right.

THCRAP creates a shortcut for the game that can be opened with wine start.
