I have 3 Chromebooks that I use as Linux laptops by way of the built in virtual machine. There is one Windows program that I use that necessitates the use of Wine. On 2 of these Chromebooks (Intel and AMD processors) Wine installs in the Linux virtual machine and I am able to run the Windows program perfectly. However, on the third Chromebook (Intel processor), Wine installs but when I attempt to run the Windows program I get a lengthy error message about a "serious problem" being encountered and the program does not run. All 3 Chromebooks are on the same version of ChromeOS and use the same version of Wine.
I'm looking for help as to why the third Chromebook is encountering a problem while the other two run the Windows program flawlessly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
