Why Repo gives error : Certificate is not TRUSTED?

Post by hopperman »

I tried to install wine-stable from repo but it gives below error :

https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debia ... /InRelease could not get. Certificate verification failed: The certificate is NOT trusted. The revocation or OCSP data are old and have been superseded. Could not handshake: Error in the certificate verification. [IP: 151.101.114.217 443]

I updated repo but it still gives the same error. Why?
(I am using Debian 11 Bullseye.)

I was facing this problem as well. A simple time and date mismatch invalidated the certificates. This may be expected when dual booting, as the motherboard RTC can store the time in either UTC or local time zone
