Did you try it using a clean wineprefix (meaning you either delete, rename or move ~/.wine, or you set a different wine dir to use using WINEPREFIX=/home/user/somedir wine appname.exe)?

Is that the entire console output? What you've posted are just normal console messages.

I get exactly the same console output when I run wine iexplore, plus some shdocvw fixmes following the point that your post stops at. For me, gecko installs and runs just fine.

What exactly is the problem you are having?

The iexplore.exe does not show anything. Just white page shows up.

I did remove .wine directory and try angain but no success.

Versions: Newlly intalled Debian Edge RC6 and wine 1.1.13~winehq1-1
Gecko engine package wine_gecko-0.9.0.cab is copied into /usr/share/wine/gecko/

The same problem ocurs with version Edge RC5 and wine 1.0.1

thx, Dejan

my terminal output:

wine iexplore.exe http://google.com
The iexplore.exe does not show anything. Just white page shows up.

I did remove .wine directory and try angain but no success.
When you ran the command to connect to google did you get a message about Gecko not being installed?
You should have and then installed Gecko from the download. It appears that the version of Gecko you received is incorrect. The solution is to remove the Gecko cabinet file, whose name I cannot remember at this time.
