wine testing

Hi,

I'm new to wine project, so sorry for (probably) dumb questions.

I have a question regarding wine testing, whether it is better to test the latest released version or the latest version from git. Different pages on WineHQ say different (opposite) things about it.

What sort of testing are you talking about? Test what where and how? If you want to catch regressions yearly - use current HEAD (the state of the git repository). If you want to test applications for the AppDB - use a released version.
