normally I would have refrained from asking but I found out that Microsoft now supports the Enterprise Windows Driver Kit (EWDK) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/window ... rsion-1903 which is awesome because the whole environment is encapsulated in one batch file and no installation has to be done.
Developing drivers under Windows is abysmal and I really want a reproducible development environment, this is the perfect opportunity but it needs some integration engineering into wine. The batch file tries to set different environment variables and fails to do so. Maybe someone with more Wine experience could make it work? This would be awesome
