I recently tried installing XCOM: Enemy Within through wine, however I didn't let it create a desktop shortcut. I searched through my harddrive but can't find it anywhere (the program files for c: just contains common files and iexplorer).
The game is definitely installed as my harddrive is more than 20gb fuller than it was before.
It gets curiouser when I do :
$ sudo find / -name *XCOM*
Program missing on drive
Re: Program missing on drive
It appears to have slipped your mind to provide any useful information! Oops...

- What Linux Distribution are you running? (Let me guess: Ubuntu or a derivative)
- What version of Wine are you using? Wine versions 2.0.1 or 2.9 are currently supported...
- Are you using the default WINEPREFIX? See: WineHQ Wiki: 6.5 Wineprefixes.
- What terminal commands did you use to install Xcom to your WINEPREFIX?
- What Linux user did you run this command as?

Re: Program missing on drive
