Linux mt4 works but my broker's platform wont work on wine

I downloaded mt4 (linux) version from the meta trader website & my deno account was working perfectly.
I tried to add my broker & login to my live account & couldn't.
I contacted my broker who informed me I need to install the platform from their website http://www.markets.com/trading-platform ... rader.html
This platform doesn't seem to want to work properly on wine.
Is there a way I can get this platform to work on wine?

Opensuse 13.1 64 bit
Wine 1.7.17

I left my computer on over night to do updates & when I connected to mt4 this morning mt4 was working.
