Kobo Doesn't Always Open

When I try to open Kobo I get an error the first three or four times I try. Then it opens and works normally. Error is

assertion failed in 32-bit code (0xf7702425)

.

I have the latest version of the Koo reading app for PC but the problem happened in the previous version also. I am running PCLinuxOS 64 bit. I have both 32 bit and 64 bit Wine 1.6 installed.

I can post the registry dump if that would be helpful.
