Cant install WINE on Ubuntu Unity!

Well i bought a chromebook (links and references at bottom) and so far its great, i recently got Ubuntu Unity for it, its very user friendly and stuff, when i go to Software Manager, i type in Wine, it doesnt give me a option to install, so i came here and tried doing the Terminal Install and everything, i added the PPA and so forth, and everytime i try to use "sudo apt-get install wine1.4" it says "E: Package 'wine1.4' has no installation candidate" i tried with Wine1.3 and same damn thing... *sighs* anyway ive looked up a few things and cannot figure out a solution so i thought here would be best place, if you have any links, solutions, tips, ideas, ANYTHING please reply with them i really want to get this fixed, really for only one reason, to download and play IMVU on my chromebook, im going to give as much information as possible to make this a speedy and easy forum:

im not too computer savy, i read the how to install and everything, and there are so many packages, how do i know which one is for my version and computer, dont mean to be a bother but i hate walking in the dark thank you though

also! i just realized i have a ARM chromebook, and did some research and was directed to here : http://wiki.winehq.org/ARM
i dont know what all that info means but if it can help you help me get Wine.. i figured it would help, thanks!

That explains why you can't install any of the Wine packages. AFAIK, no one is building Wine packages for ARM. If you want to install Wine on your chromebook you would have to build it yourself, and it wouldn't be able to run x86 apps anyway, because Wine does not do CPU emulation. We do have a thread from a user who reported some success getting it to work with QEMU; if you want to experiment, take a look at that. http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17701

gah.. this lappy is becoming more trouble then its worth, just wanted it for school and IMVU.. gunna give it reviews warning the next buyers.. thanks, topic close if you can do that
