Rage - directx

Hi
got a new pc and now I get while trying to launch rage:

Failed to create XAudio2 engine. Try installing the latest DirectX.

tried, installed but still the same. Any help?

First of all you should to use Wine 1.6 or 1.7.0. And give a terminal log.

Wine 1.6 and nothing visible in the log. this crappy steam worked before but it has updated itself. Even after installing directx of june 2010 still the same.

winetricks --force xact_jun2010

did the job at least on a new .wine. Will try now my old ~.wine.
