Thunderbird portable ( 17 ) crashes under wine

I downloaded Thunderbird portable (latest) onto a USB drive and launched under wine ( Ubuntu / Wine 1.4 ). I was able to install Thunderbird but when I go through the screens to configure an existing email account in Thunderbird, it always crashes each and every time repeatable.

I would like to know if there is a tracking/bug database and would like to get this entered or get a tracking number.

Your Wine version is old; upgrade to 1.6 or later. The Thunderbird bug was fixed a long time ago. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31065
