Hello. I've just done a clean install on my system with Sabayon 13.04 and wine 1.5.31. The first time I used wine I was prompted to install something (within wine - .NET or API manager or similar) and I didn't do it Now I think I need that something because my games are no longer working correctly, they were previously and I remember installing that something last time I started wine for the first time.
Can somebody please Tell me what this is and how I can place it neatly where it belongs?
If the prompt came from Wine on creation of the wineprefix it would have been for wine-gecko or wine-mono. Your distro should package both, but if it doesn't, follow the instructions in the wiki for installing them manually. http://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko http://wiki.winehq.org/Mono
