Installing Wine on Arch Linux
I want to get latest version of Wine on Arch Linux but its current repo has version 0.9.61-1. How can I get latest version of Wine via Pacman package manager (without compiling source)?
you cannot. either try using ABS, compile from sources (which is basically just what ABS does) or keep using the old packaged version. if you are having problems with wine and you are using catalyst 8.6 driver I have made a post about that and its a bug in the catalyst drivers which cause the screen corruption..
edit: or try contacting the maintainer of the package, although that wont likely do any good since you cant force anyone to do anything.

AUR has Wine 1.1.0-1, but
Why is it on OpenSuse binary?
