As I saw the announcement on WineHQ that 1.4-rc1 is released, I was very excited, and promptly refreshed my package manager.
I would really like to help testing the new wine-version, but I lack the time to compile it myself. Do I have to add another repository (besides the usual one for the "uneven" branch) or does it simply take some more time till the update arrives in the repository?
(I'm on KUbuntu, by the way)
Thanks very much for your Replys!
Wine 1.4 rc1 - repository?
Re: Wine 1.4 rc1 - repository?
AFAIK, it should be in the same repository (I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be), and yes, sometimes it takes a few days before packages get built. But you really need to ask your distro's package maintainer.snejjj wrote:As I saw the announcement on WineHQ that 1.4-rc1 is released, I was very excited, and promptly refreshed my package manager.
