Hi i am having problem installing origin in wine. it says that i have to have administrative privileges to run the application. but when i change wine to an older windows it says i am using an to old version of windows.
Is there a way to get administrative privileges on wine without changing the wine windows spec to older than vista?

Re: how to get administrative privileges in wine?
Most likely it's using some form of copy protection that doesn't work on Wine. As James noted, Wine always shows that user running it is an administrator. So it's not the problem with permissions, but the way program checks for them.UG1 wrote:Hi i am having problem installing origin in wine. it says that i have to have administrative privileges to run the application.
What program are you talking about exactly?
