Clucalc /Cluviz software from http://www.clucalc.info/
It will not install under Wine

I am running Ubuntu 10.10 Meerkat (all patching up to date). Wine reinstalled as of yesterday.
No help on site.
I have tried to install from source (as an alternative) but have had library incompatibility problems.

What Wine version are you using? The latest development version is 1.3.35 to date.

CLUCalc 4.3.3 installs and runs without problems here on Fedora 16 and with Wine-1.3.35.

a few points that I forgot to mention.
a) i am running 64 bit Meerkat.
b) the install (under wine) fails and I cannot find any logs
c) I am trying to install 6.1
HOWEVER.
Taking you message that 4.3.3 works successfully, I used wine to install the 4.3.3 version under meerkat 64-bit.
IT WORKS like a charm

I am up and running now.
I will contine to experiment when I have time and get more familiar with "wine" and post any useful results.
